Canadian recording artist, Katherine Penfold, has begun creating a buzz throughout the music industry, becoming known as one of Canada's best voices. Her incredible sense of tone and expression has brought a new, refreshing sound to the pop/jazz genre, as reflected in her last 2 albums. With a 3rd album on the way, this is an artist you don't want to miss hearing perform or having on your playlist. She is one of a kind, working with musicians Walle Larsson, Ron Paley, Dee Daniels, Luke McMaster, and songwriter, Christopher Ward.

While studying music at Brandon University, Katherine began singing with Funk/R&B group, The NuPhunk Orchestra. Through experience performing with the talented jazz/funk musicians at the University, she found a love for the classic jazz standards and the stories they told. Now writing jazz standards alongside her pop originals, Katherine's music is a perfect blend of modern pop and jazz culture, bringing to the table a whole new brand of musicianship and passion to listeners worldwide.
