When I was two, I BEGGED my parents to enter me into a beauty contest so I could "SING". After weeks of fit throwing, my dad said "FINE! I'll pay the $50 entry fee just to prove to her she can't sing, and that will be the end of it"... Oh if he had only known. HAHA!

The years flew by filled with Opry's, Contests, Festivals, Concerts, Tours, Jam Sessions, etc... (If you want to know the full story, check out my Wikipedia page below) At 18, I made the move to Tennessee. I started performing at theaters in the Pigeon Forge area, and that's where I met my husband (Robbie), We decided to start a band (Kata and The Blaze) and we released 2 different albums (available on iTunes) and toured across the country for almost 5 years.

In the midst of all that around April of 2008 I decided to check out Youtube. For a few months I just watched some of my favorite artists I found to get "the hang" of it. Then finally uploaded my first video in July of 2008. Here two years later, Youtube is a HUGE part of my life, and I'm SO glad I decided to upload that first video. :)

In April we decided to retire the band Kata and The Blaze and started touring with The Grassabillies. I now am working on my first solo album in over 7 years (I'm SUPER excited about it!) If you would like to know more about me and my music check out the sites below!
