@Abbertont i agree, i think it saves time and money, painting straight red in 2 k but it will fade if exposed to to much sun. if it were my car i would always use waterbase and clear .

i have been a pro painter since 97 and have never known anything but waterbased paint, my top tip is if your spraying a high met like silver or met grey using ppg turn the spray booth down to 10 degrees otherwise the metallic will stand up and cause you problems on the blend panel

this car was painted in the workshop judging by how the car next to it was covered up, very shit paint job without a booth, must have taken forever to wet sand and polish up to a nice finish
