About this user

I was born on February 3, 1979 in Corpus Christy, Texas, but lived most of my life in Lancaster, Ohio. Growing up I was reguarded as an unusual and shy child. Some of my teachers in elementary school thought I had learning disabilities. Ha! All has been proven bunk since I am a college graduate and extremely intelligent. I used to be afraid of what others thought of me, but I'd rather be true to myself and embrace the things that make me truly unique. My hobbies are gaming, anime, science fiction/fantasy, furry and martial arts. I'm a brown belt in Shuri-Ryu Karate! What are my objectives in life? Primarilly, is to land a job in my field. Ideally, I'd love to work in the anime industry for companies such as FUNimation, ADV, or Geneon. Ideally I'd like to work on writing scripts/subtitles, touch-up animation, and DVD menus/case, etc. I'm very fortunate to know a few people in the industry, but I'm at a crossroads to see if this is something I really want to do. It's going to take a lot of networking, time, and guts since I will have to move to where the jobs are and it's sure not in Lancaster. Even if I don't make it into the anime biz I'll be content working at a job where I can use my talents and creativity.
