About this user

Quiet, sensitive, meditative, moody and introspective (though not a navel gazer) I like music that reminds me of my childhood and early adulthood. It's why I spend a lot of time on YouTube. Classic and smooth soul and R&B will always be my favorite genre -- in fact, in my mind, the only musical style that helps me stay focused and get on with life. Real soul and R&B usually told or tells a story often of the flaws and deep darkness in human nature and the human condition. Someone has been "there" before me, therefore most of my favorites are of that musical style. But I also can appreciate other musical genres; jazz, blues, funk, classical, rock, and some rap/hip hop as long as the specific genre showcases real talent.

I have a sense of humor and look for the funnies in every day situations.It keeps me from taking life tooo seriously and it makes living more palatable. And finally........:

N.F.L. Football, baby. I love football in general and specifically the Steelers representative of the many hardcore women fans from the mid-Atlantic. We are the Black n Gold Girls and we make no apologies for that status of an auxillary football team..
