7Years project was born in September 2001. Matteo, Diego, Dona and Chico came from different bands and experiences of their town Livorno (Italy), and decided to form the band with the will and the dream to make something important. Those guys play a kind of hardcore with a mix of influences (from Heavy Metal to Rock'n'roll, because they like many kinds of music) but to make things the simplest possible you can say that 7Years is an emo-core band. After a couple of months they recorded their first promo "7Years promo 2001" , 5 melodic hardcore songs with something more, and this work had many good reviews from the most importants italian webzines. Then they started to play all around Italy, and even if was really difficult to rise inside the alternative italian scene, 7Years became a well known name for many kids. They had a lot of shows with important italian bands like Seed'n'feed, Vanilla Sky and Beerbong and supported foreign and famous bands like SHELTER, UNDECLINABLE, BELVEDERE, PULLEY, TED LEO & The Pharmacists, FURTHER SEEMS FOREVER, THE GHOST and MEWITHOUTYOU. A lot of compiltations, a very good split with their great friends Seed'n'feed, an European Tour in Germany, Austria and Slovenia and then the new ep album "Shape without form" and 7Years band is ready to face the whole world. With the support of Wynona Records staff those guys are taking contacts with Japanese label CR JAPAN for a solid distribution of their new album in the country of rising sun, because in a few of months this ep album received a lot of great reviews and it sold out. "Shape without form" is avaiable in Japan with 7Years'new and official distributor DISK UNION. The new album "Photograms" will be realesed on 2006.
