Aash Jethra is a freelance multimedia reporter with an acute knowledge of south Asian history and geopolitics. With experience reporting in the subcontinent and a background in biomedical research, he brings a broad range of aptitudes to his reporting.Well-rounded not only in content, Aash is also proficient with various media platforms. He has exposed the devastation of the Haiti earthquake in photographs, covered parliamentary candidates in Afghanistan for a national daily and captured the rich sounds of kathak dancing in an audio slideshow.
Currently, Aash is pursuing a master of arts degree at the City University of New York's Graduate School of Journalism with a concentration in international reporting.
