The Kansas Food Bank is the primary source of food for 300 anti-hunger agencies (food pantries, shelters, soup-kicthens, etc.) in the state. More than 7 million pounds of food a year moves through our warehouse to these agencies and on to people in need, preventing hunger in 32,000 people per week. In addition, the Food Bank supplies weekend food bags to about 5,000 chronically hungry children through the Food4Kids backpack program.
