@meganamanda5210 It is really tricky at first. Concentrate on 3 strands at a time (like a regular braid, and you could even "number" the strands. For example, 1 will go over 2 and under 3, then 5 will go over 4 and under 3. The numbers won't change left to right and it might help you focus. Just ...
