Hey my name is Rachel and I am totally Dressage crazy. I currently compete at Prelim/Novice level though at home I ride at Elementary/Medium level. I am 17 and have finished my GCSE's, but now I am going on to do my A Levels. My dream job would be a dressage rider, however I do have to be realistic so i'm studying super hard to become a veterinary surgeon.

Mr Sox
Age - 24
Breed - Welsh Cob (D) x TB
Mr Sox was the horse to get me into dressage. I have been riding him for onl four years, but he has taught me so much, and we have come so far together. We have competed at Walk and Trot, Prelim and Novice level. He has given me the confidence to be able to compete out of my comfort zone, and I thank him for that. Our list of achievements are endless but here are our best ones.
2007-2008 Eaglesfield Dressage Championship - 3rd Place
2008-2009 Eaglesfield Dressage Championship - 1st Place
2009 - Speedgate Dressage Championship - 1st Place
2009 - 2010 Eaglesfield Dressage Championship - 1st Place
2010 - Hickstead Dressage Masters - 5th Place
2010 - Petplan Area Festival Qualifier - 3rd Place
2011 - Petplan Area Festival Finals - Round 1 - 16th Place
Overall - 31st =D
Sadly Mr Sox has now retired from competition, but he seems quite happy about it, after all he gets to eat and do nothing all day =)

Libbi
Age - 10
Breed - Polish Arabian
Libbi is my first proper horse. I have had her since she was two years old, and me and my mother backed her ourselves, when I was 8. I learnt the basics of riding on Libbi. When she was 4 she ran through a barbed wire fence and almost tore of her leg. It is a miracle she is actually alive let alone working at the standard she is. When we moved yards I met Sox, and because of what Sox taught me, I was able to ride Libbi in a more productive way, and she has progressed so far, currently competing at Novice and working at Elementary level at home. She has taught me to sit to her many tantrums, and even though I have fallen from her 4 times over the years, I have learnt to sit more securely, and I am more able to stay on her during a tantrum. She has not got as many achievements as me and Sox however now Sox has retired I plan on bringing her forward.

Smokey
Smokey was my first pony, and during the summer I had him on loan when I was 4 years old, I had so much fun with him, and even now I still go to visit him, and he always pricks his ears, which makes me very happy.
