If you were wondering......I collect Kaleidoscopes.......and I am a lover of, well.., many things.
I'm extremely eclectic, creative, open minded, and very liberal. I'm somewhat "green", or try to be. Ive been a veg since I was 16. No meat for me-but I dont put down others who enjoy it.
I find my place is here amongst the giant redwood trees. They feed my soul. I also love the city (S.F.) and miss it if I don't go there often enough.
I'm fairly enthusiastic about life but I have my melancholy moments. Ive become a skeptic or a bit nihilistic in my older age but I still find life to be a gift and every action, or thought can effect so many things.
Two quotes I live by: "Amor Fati", and "Momento Mori": I dont find them these quotes to have a dark context-some people might. They help me live in the now.
Though my taste of music is vast, I find my self listening to mostly downtempo, jazz, electronic stuff - or an audio book. I'll always go back to my punkrock, dance, garage band, psychadelic reggae roots. Old lounge, spy jazz, moog music...is aslways fun.
My favorite artists of all time: Tom Waits, David Bowie, Beatles, Zappa, Herbie Hancock, Queen, Beastie Boys...........actually the list can go on forever. I'm mainly going by my biggest collections of music. I have everything by Air......so they must be one of my favorites too. You'll gather by my musical interest that I'm all over the place. I get in moods and go with it. Sometimes I'm nostalgic, and sometimes I like to listen to new music or artists.
I'm posting this website for my friends and to hopefully make new friends. Hope you enjoy my Favorites and Playlists Its a mixture of nostalgia music, (cause Im so Ol' Skool). I may post my fave movie bits, tv shows, things that make me laugh. Some stuff is information on many of my interests: nlp, hypnosis, the mind, propaganda (not paranoia), and some compelling/ interesting concepts about spirituality, meditation, mankind, and living green.
Some of my other favorite things: Eckhart Tolle, Derren Brown, and Spongebob, Chowder, True Blood..Weeds, breaking bad and my dirty secret : million dollar listing,,,,those girls just crack me up
I love the Ukulele and I play the Ukulele a bit. It's such a fun instrument.
