Hi, I've followed your video 'How to Load: 35mm Holga 135' exactly but still can't get the crank to turn after I've loaded it. The counter is going up, it's on 2 now but the crank isn't turning. Please help, I don't know what I'm doing.
Thanks in advance :)

Hi 7max205. As you've discovered, if you want your local 1-hour lab to be able to print from your 35mm negs, you must use the narrower 35mm film masks. The reason for this is that their equipment isn't set up to print the wider format negs based on the 120 film wide film window. Even if you do use the 35mm masks, but are trying to get the image in the sprocket holes, most 1-hour labs won't be able to print the sprocket edges. The manufacturer's of the lab equipment never imagined that a bunch of crazy photographers would want prints including the traditional non-image areas of the film. What you need to do is scan the film in. You will have to look around for a lab to do this, or go out and get your own film scanner. This is how most of the wide format images with sprocket holes included are done. Mail order labs? Check out Dwayne's Photo lab (Parsons, KS) or Swan Photo Lab (San Clemente, CA). Sorry, youtube won't let me put links in the comments.

Well I guess its my time for a question. Ive had my Diana F+ for about 6 or more months now and have been happy with the odd and interesting results of getting my prints back from the shop. I recently started using the 35mm back piece for convenience and for the panorama + sprockets. I just returned from abroad where I shot about 11 roles of 35mm film with the panorama and sprockets included. I was so excited to have my film developed that when the call came from the lab that they could not be printed I couldnt believe it. Apparently where I live, most of the photo companies (not cvs or walgreens) cannot print the 33x48 negative. I was wondering if you have experienced this problem also and maybe know a solution or a company I can ship my negatives off to.

Hi vianna. It's easy. The film starts on the left and gets wound onto the empty spool on the right. When you shoot the last frame, you finish the roll by completely winding on the spool on the right. Take full spool out , move the empty spool on the left to the right and start over.

hey I just got my holga 120 CMY and I haven't gotten film for it yet. but I've been watching videos on how to load the film into the holga, in the videos they put the film on the left side of the camera but in the unloading the film videos they take the film out and its on the right side. I am so incredibly confused ! please help

Hi xpinkypenguinx. I am not familiar with the Tunnel Vision lens, but based on it's description, I would guess that this version is not compatible with the Diana+ as is. They might make a version for the Diana+, but the Diana+ in the 12 exposure mode has a pretty wicked vignetting on the corner already, which is what the Tunnel Vision seems to enhance, so they may not bother making a version for the Diana+ cameras.

Hi dimalin. It's possible that the counter reset is just stuck. I can't remember exactly where the reset is on this camera and i can't look until I finish my current roll, but when you next take film out of your camera (just shoot until it won't wind anymore), take a look for a pin or lever on the door that fits into a recess on the camera. If the counter hasn't reset, try opening and closing the camera a few times and see if that resets it. If it won't reset, your counter is broken, but the good news is that your camera should still work, you just won't know exactly how much film you have left to shoot.
