@JTrut19 imo knopfler is better than clapton. song writting ability ? clapton copied almost all blues tracks he could found and don't forget he stole cocaine and after midnight to jj cale. Listen to any clapton's solo it's pure blues whereas knopfler is more creative check brothers in arms tunnel...
