I have learned most of what I know about life from the characters of The Golden Compass, Donnie Darko and Harry Potter. You'd never say I'm the most normal person in the world, and I'm okay with that! I have recently been told by someone I love very much that I'm crazy but I'm me, so crazy is okay. I want to meet Slipknot, Jack Black and Dane Cook and my life revolves around books, music and comedy. I'm in some little band you've never heard of called 900Degrees, but if you give us a couple years, you'll hear of us. I don't do homework or classwork but I miraculously get good grades. I think it's cool to quote the Kool-Aid man and make gay porn jokes with my math teacher.
Life's like a coloring book and you get to choose what colors you use. Think about it. Does the sky look the same shade of blue to everyone? Maybe it looks red to you! Whatever. Just grab your crayons and go crazy like a kid with a million dollars at a toy store.
Maybe you should occasionally listen to the people around you. They might teach you something, because I know they all taught me.
