This song was made famous by Frank Sinatra in 1967. But, same year another hit song, "Something Stupid" became number one on Billboard Hit Chart which overshadowed "The World We Knew". Music by German Musician, Composer, Bert Kaempfert. Bert Kaempfert was another composer I really liked when I was young (about 14 years). I listened to Kaempfert album over and over again. I liked the trumpet sound which inspired me to learn trumpet. Well, back to Frank Sinatra. I still remember when I was about 14, I went to a Yamaha record store in Osaka, Japan. They were the only store back then which allowed us to sample the LP album before we bought. I listened to one of Frank Sinatra album (the one with Neal Hefti Orchestra and Nelson Riddle Orchestra). I took my time listen to it, I liked all the songs especially "I've Got You Under My Skin". I bought the album and listen to it 100's of times at home. And, after over 40 years, I still have this album. I like all the composition by Bert Kaempfert (and his style) and this is no exception. I had chance to see Frank Sinatra's concert twice. Sitting in the audience, I could feel chills when he is there singing. I could tell he had the great charisma. I am his fan, and still enjoy his music. I used Hohner Chromatic Harmonica, Super-64 Gold here. Hope you enjoy the music. Thanks for listening.
1967年にフランクシナトラの歌で有名になった曲です。僕は日本幼少時代、早くからシナトラのファンで、ある日、大阪心斎橋ヤマハ楽器店でＬＰレコードを試聴していました。その頃、買う前に試聴出来たのは恐らくここだけだったかも知れません。ニールヘフティとかネルソンリドルのBig Band オーケストラでバックでした。店員さんの困った顔をよそに何回も何回も聞いてから買いました。それが買ったシナトラアルバムの一番最初でした。今でも所持しています。多分それからビッグバンドが好きになったのもあるかも。シナトラのライブは実際にアメリカで２回行くことが出来ました。素晴らしいコンサートでした。今でもその時の状況が感じる事が出来ます。彼がスポットライトの下で歌いだすと観衆がシーンとなり、彼から滲み出るカリスマとかオーラ見たいな物がジーンと伝わって来ました。この曲の作曲のBert Kaempfertも大ファンで、彼の数々の作品も大好きです。ホナー社 スーパー６４ゴールドのクロマチックを使いました。聴いて下さりありがとう。

One of my favorite jazz standard tune covered by many artist.Tune has beautiful melody and lyric. I used Suzuki G-48 and tried to play as freely as my limited skill allowed. Thanks for listening.
