@Packing wood, what bypass.... his is a model turbojet, no bypass air (not a fan).

Its Just the exhaust cone a "bit too hot", of course it you run it too long with flame through the turbine disk it will fail... (melt down of the turbine....)

Yep these tests are dangerous, BUt better that they are done to prove the safety of the plane in extreme attitudes, rather that than NOT test it, and find that on tail strike the rear end of the plane falls off.... Test Pilots are a Dangerous breed, but the tests are planned to minimise the ris...
