My grandparents came from Aberdeen to Canada in 1920 and 1921, then to the U.S. I've never been to Scotland and this may be the closest I'll get. If so, it's aye enough for me.

I have a vinyl copy of Buddy Cole's last album. I don't recall the title but it was all big band songs with original orchestrations and sidemen. It's scratchy but with new audio technology I'll be able to hear it in original quality - esp. Song of India. Wow! What an album!

That's great. Not enough room to post the lyrics but if I can email you, I'll send them. I just turned 60 and remember them like yesterday. I'm so grateful we had Ranger Andy, Hap Richards and the rest. Let me know how to contact you. Bob

First, we lost Captain Kangaroo, then Mister Rogers. Now Bear is gone because Luna went away. I'm 59, and the show was very comforting and reassuring to my inner child. That child had some bad times but Bear and his friends helped soothe some of the hurt. I have warm and wonderful memories, becau...

ka3zci I was not an Earnhardt fan, per se, nor even a NASCAR fan but it's impossible to not know about the man. I was on the net when I saw the story on Yahoo. I was stunned to say the least. He did so much for the sport and is remembered as one of the greatest in the history of racing. His de...
