They wouldn't let me post the link...but if you search Johnny Paycheck, Baldwin, you will find it.
Thank you beardomike. You might also enjoy, "Cicada Kama Sutra" and "Cicada Dance" here on YouTube.
I assume this was "B-roll" footage meant to be cut into more coherent longer shots with better audio.
If you listen to the vid, "Beach Boys perform at Riverbend", Al Jardine says he wrote this based on a Cincinnati trip. He confuses Covington, KY with Louisville...but he seems to think it was a Cincy adventure.
We do believe we have presented a respectful and insightful dialogue of a body of work that can never be duplicated.
Having said that, if individuals choose to make their films of kinetic sculpture with a static video camera, we say go for it.
The women were all people who were at the Adams County Fair, one evening in 2009. Yes they are nice people.
Every woman who passed the crew was invited and almost all who accepted were included...(not many people there that evening) there were a few individuals who were too quiet. I am not sure of their ethnic background but they did not appear to be African American. I am unaware of the ethnic breakdown of Adams County. I assume that information might be found somewhere online.
I worked for Shad at Counterpart Studios, in the 80s. By then he owned his own 24 track studio and the Fraternity record label... we lost him 2 years ago after a short illness...he was a character until the end and still actively involved in various aspects of the music business.
I want one of those hats.
The original tape was broken and the decision was made to put in the caution verbage and I re-recorded it, I think in '73, when I worked at the park. I did "Clarence the Paper Eating Lion" the same day... but that tape deck, mounted inside a trash can, lasted less than a week and then the lion was silent forever.
Perhaps you have a copy of an earlier version... or maybe even later after I left at the end of '76. Anyway good to see the old snail again.
