We Christians must keep in mind that Satan's agenda in this post-modern world is to sway everyone to "universalism" (meaning that all paths lead to heaven). As all Christians know, this stands in stark contrast to scripture. God is unchanging, but Satan is dynamic. He knows humanity well, and he knows how to exploit our evil hearts. He has brought the standard of morality in this world to an all-time low, all the while creating a sense of superiority in those who follow him... even the ones who don't even think he exists. Will things ever change for the better? Only when Christ returns.
