Really funny, although I hate this whole idea that overgeneralizing is fine as long as you're in the counterculture. It's annoying and self-righteous when the establishment does it, so why should it be any less annoying when anyone else does it?

I think hanging a Confederate flag is probably not a good idea, but we shouldn't be telling people what they should be offended by. If he isn't offended by it, and it doesn't cause a problem with his roommates or whatever, I think he should be allowed to do it, even if I don't personally like it.

As a student of a religious university, I think this is a bit bizarre and very extreme. That said, can we not use this as an excuse to rag on all religious people? Can we be a bit more mature about this and not stereotype everyone based on a few people's actions?
