Lots of stuff. Maybe even a little bit of everything. Math hurts my head. And I'm not really into all the newest technology and stuff. I'm on a strict financial budget - thanks to a crappy government! Obama had better ACT NOW, or America is not going to get any better. (Remember, people, this was written back in December '08 / January '09)
Movies:
A lot of different stuff. For movies- I just like anything that isn't annoying. Things that hold my interest. I like good movies in all genres and am very interested in seeing older movies. I think it's important for gay people to have as extended a cultural vocabulary as it is possible for them to acquire.I mostly like movies from the 70's, 80's, and 90's. Most stuff today just plain sucks. Everything is advertising, getting you to buy things. Where is the character development?! Why does everything today have to pander?As for TV - same thing applies for today. I hate Nickelodeon and Disney shows, the characters are completely stupid! But there are a few decent shows out there. I mostly like TV shows from the 70's, 80's, and early 90's.
Music:
Music this decade is doing a lot better than movies. I like anything I can dance to - and there's a lot of GREAT dance music coming out now. As for the rock-oriented stuff, it's pretty boring this decade. The best rockers are the cool indie bands like Gorillaz or Ok Go. Most of it is that drippy, boring almost "easy listening" type stuff. I guess you'd call it Pop too since RnB-ers are so piano hip these days. Rap has completely gone down the drain. It's all too kinky, you know? Like cheap strip club stuff.
Books:
Urban Legend books, anyone who writes nasty books about Republicans, complex scary-story compilations, how-to books.
