Lovi is the daughter of Fernando Poe, Jr. The King of Philippine Cinema. Her mother is Rowena Moran. A former ramp/commercial model. On the other hand, Aljur is a newcomer in showbiz. He won the talent search of GMA 7 StarStruck as The Ultimate Hunk and Yes Magazine's The Next Male Big Star.

Aljur Abrenica and Lovi Poe had worked together in a Japanese live action series adaptation Zaido. Starring Dennis Trillo and the late Marky Cielo.

Aljur Abrenica played Cervano, the Red Ranger while Lovi Poe played Mona, a photo journalist.

They also have a duet on Lovi's second album. Save The Sunlight. Aljur Abrenica and Lovi Poe are ready to take superstardom and many of their fans want them to work together in another tv series or watch them on the silver screen.

Fans voted for them to get the lead roles in the Philippine remake of the Mexican telenovela Rosalinda. They wanted Lovi Poe as Rosalinda and Aljur Abrenica as Fernando Jose. The original version starred Mexican superstar and Queen of Latin Telenovelas, Thalia and Venezuelan actor Fernando Carillo.

Aljur is to star in his own sinenovela entitled Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin while Lovi joins Marian Rivera in Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang.
