COOP3R COV3RS live cover/jam of Summit by Skrillex featuring Ellie Goulding. Skrillex and Ellie Goulding are two of my absolute favorite artists, and this is by far my favorite song off of the bangarang album, and one of my favorites from Skrillex ever. It is a very mature and beautiful piece. Because of that we arranged the piece so that we would play and highlight all of the important and featured parts of the song, and we tried to keep the same feel as Skrillex's original song with our arrangement.
All of the audio was recorded live, and 3 camera angles were recorded live. To further your viewing pleasure, we then recorded 3 more angles as well as some extra footage to show everything that was going on. The entire room was captured during the live run using a GoPro HD Hero2 wide angle.
If you noticed, I had to keep my hand on the snares of my snare drum throughout all of the quiet parts to minimize the snare buzz from the different pitches. This is also why I played many of the melodic parts one handed.

Easy Way Out lyrics
Seventeen seconds and I'm over it Ready for the disconnect Putting on a brave face Trying not to listen to the voices in the back of my head
(But it's alright now) It's a distant memory baby (It's alright now) You know you should just let it go
But some feelings have a habit of persisting even though you wouldn't let it show
Wearing me out (All this) Hanging around (It just starts) Getting me down ('till I'm just) Looking for an easy way out
Braindead from boredom I'm led to distraction Scratching the surface of life Nothing really happens But it's easy to keep busy When you tell yourself you're traveling right
(But it's alright now) Was it really worth it baby? (It's alright now) Was it just a waste of time?
Keep on second-guessing Use my memory like a weapon On everything I try
