Julien's charismatic stage presence and feel good music has made him the music biz's latest artist to watch in the Philippines.
Julien' music has been noted for displaying a wide variety of styles and influences, including pop, rock, funk, reggae and hip hop. Juan Manila, from Juan Manila Express says " Julien Drolon's sound is universal and refreshing too".

Julien's musical journey started in 2007 when he arrived for the first time in the Philippines. Although Julien was still working as an international reporter, he decided to learn the guitar and started to write his own songs. Following a spiritual journey to Mexico in 2008, Julien realized that his biggest dream was to become an international artist and contribute to promote peace and unity through music. He left his job and came back in the Philippines in 2010 to work on his songs and create his own band. A few months later Julien got invited to play at the Asian music conference, Music Matters Festival, which was held in Hong Kong in May 26-29, 2010. The same year, he also performed at the opening of the China Music Industry Park in Shanghai and his first music video "No More Divisions" got aired in Myx, Channel V in the Phillipines and Kiss Tv in Spain.

Julien officially launched his career in the Philippines in 2011 with his first SM Mall Tour performing in 20 cities around Metro Manila. He also performed at the UP Fair, Panagbenga Flower Festival in Baguio and opened for the first Malasimbo Festival in Puerto Galera.
In November 2011 Julien's french/tagalog version of "Ipagpatawad Mo" reached the charts of Myx Tv and Channel V. The video shots in Paris and Manila features Miss Universe Philippines 2010, Ms Venus Raj. Co-produced by Jack Rufo, one of the Philippine industry's most sought after pop-rock producer , Julien's debut album "Phil So Good" will be released in the Philippines in 2012.
