Corruption is everywhere, dominating society by dementing social settings. Molding into and forming people of all types. Even rare beauty is segmented and flawed with corrupted logic, observation, reasoning, judgment....
Excuses, lies, denial... are fabricated in the within reflected back in the without and so on.. forming realities of absolute distorted information.
In a world where humans put more attention to their appearance than to themselves, appearance has become the way of human life (this way of human life is further falsified by the human being inability to see clearly).
The human tendency thus will be to escape admitting their weaknesses. Saying "I do not know" ("I do not understand because my knowledge/awareness is below understanding this unknown person/thing/situation...) is not human, it being a proof of weakness that the person will replace with false assumptions as to glorify or pacify him/herself. The human being will rather say " Actually (I do understand) this is why! Such is easier, allowing false senses of security/rightfulness to prevail in the person's limited and calculated comfort zone.
As to how to go about purifying oneself would depend on the individual case, but would have to include more then deep pore cleaning treatments as the condition quickly worsens from involving a question of false ideas and ways to also include what derived from that falseness. The damage tends to result in (but is not limited to) ranges from a rotten human being to partially untrue yet personally significant human nature.
Ignorance differentiates from cancer and other diseases in that though it does spreads inside the body, taking it over, it continues until eventually it kills it's bearer/prey of it's truth vs it's life. Another differentiation between this and other diseases, is that ignorance is far more contagious with possible contamination through any form of communication.
