"Voici Frontierland, le fabuleux Far West américain, où les torrents serpentent en toute liberté et où la fortune est au bout du rêve... » C'est ce que vous entendez lorsque vous arrivez à Frontierland en empruntant le Disneyland Railroad réalisant le tour du parc.
Après avoir réalisé Adventureland avec l'aide de James14darr, je me suis lancé sur ce projet fin mai 2011. C'était un défi important puisqu'il était nécessaire d'intégrer dans ce land Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Thunder Messa Riverboat Landing et Frontierland Depot. Le plus gros défis étant justement Big Thunder Mountain mieux connu sous le nom du « train de la mine ». Sa réalisation sous RCT3 est extrêmement complexe car il est impossible de le retranscrire tel quel avec les moyens actuels. Surtout au niveau du tracé.
C'est un travail de plus de 8 mois. Plus de 10 cartes RCT3 ont été utilisées pour la réalisation de ce projet. En tout plus de 300 heures d'investissement. Pas moins de 7 personnes ont été mobilisées pour m'aider (réalisation de packs, importations, effets spéciaux). Plus de 400 photos ont été prises à Frontierland pour la recréation sur plus de 8 visites au cours des mois de Janvier-Mars-avril-mai-juin et juillet.

Tom B. s'est chargé de la création du Mark Twain, de certains objets du Land (phare, lanternes, tuyaux, entrée de BTM et le château). Martin Bailly, spécialiste de Phantom Manor s'est chargé de créer les pièces de Phantom Manor. Merci à eux mais aussi aux importateurs qui ont su importer ces objets dans le jeu : Jenova, Victor Chabrol et Killian Durand. Je remrcie également Johan Souply qui a conçu les effets spéciaux de PM.

After recreating Adventureland with James14darr, I decided to recreate Frontierland in May 2011. It was a huge challenge because I had to build Big Thunder Mountain, Phantom Manor, Thunder Messa Riverboat Landing and Frontierland Depot. The hardest was Big Thunder Mountain because its realization with RCT3 is extremely hard. Specially the ride itself.
I needed 5 months to make it. More than 10 maps RCT3 have been used. 300 hours of work. And 7 persons worked with me for that project (creating packs, importations). More than 400 photos have been taken at Disneyland of Frontierland for that project.
