Alicia "Alise" Murphy was born May 15, 1987 in Darlington, SC but is now residing in Fayetteville, NC, where she has been living for most of her life. Alise discovered her love for singing at the age of two where she would sing around the house, "not able to hold a note in the world", a joke her grandparents would say. After the years flew by of her singing and basically training her own voice by singing for fun, Alise and others around her began to realize just how much talent she had. At the age of nine she entered her first school talent show with her cousins singing "Missing You" from the movie Set It Off and won 3rd place. From there her voice matured even more as she sang in church and for family and friends. At the age of 16 she did her first recording session. After experiecing the thrill of recording and hearing her own voice on CD, she knew this was something that was meant to go beyond the joyments of just singing for a hobby. She knew this was something she wanted for her life long career.
