It is indeed too bad that this jet's programme was shut down 'cause the Saudis preferred the F-15 over any other compititor. Had the development and the marketing been carried on we today could have seen, perhaps a French 5th Gen. Jets by now.

Whaaaat the heck man ? Half of those listed are Soviet era jets which r obsolute now. These jets r of the bygone Cold war era. We r now well into the 4.5 and 5 Generation Jets stages: Su 35/37, Raffale, F-22, EuroFighter etc. to name a few.
