EXERCISE
We are born with a seventy-year warranty. Some of us, for generic reasons, are slated for significantly longer lifespans. In any case, it would appear that this longevity quotient is predetermined. SO WHY EXERCISE? It is not going to change our life expectancy. It is time-comsuming and frequently boring. It is, in a word, a bother. So why bother?
If, however, by "LIFE EXPECTANCY" you mean what you expect out of life today, there is no contest. Anyone who exercises regularly can attest to their increase in energy. In addition, there are physical and psychological changes that enabe us to live life in full, to live at the peak of our powers.
THAT SHOULD BE OUR AIM: TO LIVE EACH DAY TOTALLY: TO LIVE IT, AS IF IT WERE TO BE OUR LAST.
