About Justin Tanaka

I am excited to finally start a Youtube channel! This is really an outlet of performance for me since I've been in many bands in the past but finishing up college has not left me enough time to gig. I love performing so this way I can share music on my own schedule and fill the musical void that is so important to me. I'm starting off with a bunch of covers of some of my favorites, but I am in the process of writing and have several songs nearly completed so watch out for those soon!

I live in central Illinois going to school at the University of Illinois in Champaign. I am majoring in Nuclear, Plasma, and Radiological engineering and working my hardest to finish that up as I have no idea what I want to do with my life, I just want to get out there and try as many things as possible!

My background in music started as soon as I can remember with singing at home for fun and with my church choir and school choirs. Singing has always been a passion of mine and I picked up a guitar in 8th grade after playing piano for a while and I haven't put it down since.
