@hope163 if your shutter is too slow when you are at the aperture you want try increasing the ISO, but as Tom says, you need to be careful not to go too high. I shoot a Nikion D7000 for me ISO 6400 is OK, but I understand that Canon shooters usually use lower ISOs than Nikon shooters.
