Remember the good old day's? Waking up heading off to school. I always had my music SO LOUD it was ridiculous! Just counting the second's before my favorite class's, like music!!! Remember the "cool kids" the one's who just didnt even have to try, they just were!! If you do, then you will remember Johnny Solis. He was just SO COOL, I dont even think the Fonz was cooler than Johnny!!! The biggest part of Johnny's mystery and charm was his abilty to play music. He is a natural, he was born to be an entertainer. Rock Ensamble, that was just awesome to have in school. We were so blessed to have Mr. Munoz there to take the time that he did with all of these talented kid's. He spent many hours with student's and there music. God Bless him for that! He saw a spark in there eye's! I dont know how many have continued to play music, but If you have kept up with Johnny then you know he has made a life career out of his God given talent. This man is still on fire!!! With each passing year he only gets better. He is like a fine wine, getting better with time. He has honed his talent and worked it right down to an art. Johnny is as smooth as silk! His voice is like none other that I have ever heard. He once told me that a fan heard him singing and she was so touched by his talent that she told him when he would sing she heard the voice of God! Now that is some major talent!! He sit's down at his drums and they are just an extention of him. He makes it look so easy, but nothing could be farther from the truth. He is a master drummer! Johnny can play anything. He can play every kind of music I have ever heard of. He has mastered the art of putting his own flavor into everthing he play's and it is really amazing. He has such great style. If you remember Johnny you will know he had a great love for life and God and that is still as true as ever. He has respect for everybody he meets, he has become a man of great character and honor. Having great faith in Jesus and giving him all the credit for his amazing talent. Next time you hear of a gig that Johnny will be playing at, dont miss it. Even if you have to drive 100 miles, it's worth it. He will love to see you, and he will leave you breathless!! You might even recognize his big cymbol that he use's. He used it in the Rock Ensemble in High Scool!! I'ts fun to travel back in time and remember all the great time's we had and the great music we made, but I think I will keep looking to the future and keep my eye's on Johnny. I cant wait to see where his music will take him, it is alway's an adventure, and a great joy to listen to him sing and watch him play!! All I can say is, Thank you God, for giving the world such a beautiful talent as Johnny Solis.
