About The Cheap Bastard
I'm just your average AADD type of guy who gets his jollys playing with DIY outdoor gear. I enjoy scavanging for raw materials with which to build my low cost / no cost projects. Low tech solutions to complex problems are of special intrest to me. The high end UL outdoor gear is great stuff, but it is all way out of my price range - not because I'm poor (well, I guess I am), but because I am a Cheap Bastard.
