@uni000ver000sal No, if you watch part 4 of this series, it is a clockwise rotation propeller. As they attach the propeller, you can see its a left-hand thread on the nut.

@evadvalcourt Yes, you are right. The Deere's hydraulic pump puts out 200 gpm while the Hitachi puts out 190 gpm. I don't know enough to say whether that would translate into faster cycle times.

Nice video. I believe that excavator is set up for driving helical piers. They are driven into unstable rock and similar strata to create an acceptable base for a foundation. They are pretty cool - start out straight, but end up spiraled from the torque.
