    Tim Reynolds - Buffalo Soldier

Tim Reynolds playing Buffalo Soldier (Bob Marley cover) in Oregon.

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@kadleckyle Look, I am one of DMB's biggest fans, but there is a difference between being the only guitarist and the lead guitarist. Dave is a rhythm guitar player, and does it better than anyone in my opinion, but he's not a lead/soloist. He's the first one to admit that, if you read any intervi...

Bugera V55 vs. Fender Hot Rod Deluxe - Shoot-Out, TTK Style!!

OK. Here's a shoot-out. The new Bugera V55 versus the traditional Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Everything Mic'd up. Please vote for your favorite. L...

@guitarjammer1 I agree, but what everyone needs to remember...it's easy to build an amp to overdrive and distort. It's much harder to build one with a very clean sound. If you buy an amp with a great clean sound, you can always make it dirty...it doesn't work the other way.

    Coldplay VS. Joe Satriani

Here are the parts of the songs I think are most copied. Spam comments will be deleted.

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@paulofaccio This is getting rediculous! People saying that fans of either band are dumb, or have no taste, etc. Neither of these artists are the first to use a IV/VI, VII, III, I progression, and won't be the last. This is all about money, period. You don't see Satch suing any one of an infinite...

Leila Josefowicz - Bruch 1st Violin Concerto (part 1)

First of all, I'm sorry I had to split this into 4 parts. I don't think the orchestra stops playing throughout the piece, which made me wonder when...

@jasonform Terrible? Are you serious? There are a lot of words to describe this performance, but terrible just isn't one of them. You may not love her style or interpritation, but it's just not terrible. And if you truly think it is, then please, by all means, post a video of your own not-terrib...

Eddie Van Halen and Angus Young Solos

clips of Eddie Van Halen and Angus Young Solos

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@PYTON554 I love Angus too, but this video is 2:30 of Eddie, and then 6 minutes of Angus. How can anyone draw an educated comparison with such an obvious bias on the part of the video poster. There are much better solos out there by Eddie than this tiny snippit. Personally, I prefer Angus Young's...

    Slash vs Tom Morello

    Who is the better guitarist:

    Slash or Tom Morello!

Leave a comment saying who you think is better!

P.S. In My Opinion Slash is better!

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@manea92 THANK YOU! Someone said it! Totally different. Way too much so to compare. However, even though he can kill it when he wants too, Tom Morello relies on effects and processing too much, where as Slash uses lots of gain and a wah, and then what you hear is a result of musicianship, not ele...

    slash vs buckethead (november rain)

    kien es el mejor?

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@Jupimaur I agree. All of Buckethead's bends were flat...every one of them. It's hard to improve on such an epic guitar solo for anyone, but especially when you're comparing the legendary guitarist that wrote it, to someone else. Slash wins every time, hands down. BH has speed, but Slash has the ...

Black Crowes "She Talks To Angels" - Letterman 1991

Black Crowes "She Talks To Angels" - Letterman 1991

    jrossd jrossd commented:

@AzureHvn What they mean when they say "trying to hard", is that he is WAY over singing it, and that this rendition is just plain terrible. I do absolutely love this song, and I play it at gigs, but Chris is just way over singing here. If this were a cover, people would be going crazy with posts ...
