I'm a devoted husband and dad and am happiest when I am with my family. I love to hear my wife laugh and even after nearly 25 years together, I am still willing to act like a jackass if it will get a chuckle out of her.

Aside from my family, my work in education is the most important thing in my life. As a CIO, Vice President and Associate Professor with University of MD University College, my work is aimed toward bringing educational opportunities to non traditional students anywhere in the world. My passion is to build technologies and processes that eliminate the barriers of time and space to all who want to learn.

I'd also like to play La Villa Strangiato all the way through without a mistake but educating the world seems like a more realistic goal for me. :-)

I'm into different kinds of music, literature, sports and travel. I'm a big Ravens fan and I love Rugby, though I'm long retired. Like to get out and hear live music when I can, but that's tough these days.
I've got two killer guitars, a Jose Ramirez 4E that I bought in Madrid and a PRS 513 Rosewood. I burn a lot of hours playing those.

I have a small studio set up in my office and have been writing and recording some progressive tunes and what used to be called jazz fusion. Will get around to posting once I'm through production.
