--Long winded story behind the album below :)

Story behind the album name "12":
So, as I was going through every song I've ever written, and trying to pick the very best to show you guys, I released I've been at this music thing for 12 years now. And then I realized the songs I picked for the album added up to 24 so I knew "12" was the name..and Yes, most entertainers don't want to reveal their real age, but I want to be real with you guys. I started my music journey when I was 17, and a Jr in High School. I never sang in front of anyone except my little sister and my best friend Daniel. My mom didn't even know I sang, until I sang at an assembly, my friend in band coaxed me into doing. I had always loved music, but at that moment, I realized I wanted to sing for the rest of my life.

After I graduated, I was about to go to College, when opportunities came knockin(never went, sorry mom)...boy band group after group, until I was sick of things falling through because of other people's decisions out of my control. So I started writing my OWN music for my solo artist career, even though I had people telling me I "would fall flat on my face" (I'll leave out who said that). For a while, I pretty much did..never made a dime, and spent a lot of money, and racked up all my credit cards, trying to make it. I drove across the country to try and make something happen, but every meeting seemed to have the same outcome, People would be really excited and talk all this big talk about how successful they could see me being, and then!!!!.....nothing happened.

It wasn't until I found Youtube, that I actually was able to make enough of a living to quit my crappy door to door sales job(sooo many slammed doors lol). From that point, I started writing songs in whatever free time I could manage outside of doing covers, and it was a slow process. There's always a much deeper fear of releasing an original song, than a cover, because when it's your own words, if people don't like it..it's your "baby" you've created and love. So, if I'm really honest, I held back. I told myself to just keep growing with the covers...Problem was I stopped enjoying making cover songs. As much as they were well received and helped pay bills, I was unfulfilled with any amount of success that came from them. I'm being brutally honest with you guys, so I hope you bare with me here. I don't expect many to even read this far lol..so if you're still here HIGH FIVE!

I'm actually a very shy person, and I have to force myself to do videos sometimes, when I really want to just stay behind the scenes. I love the feeling when someone hears my words, or voice and is helped in some way... So that's why I forced myself to finish this album. For you guys, however many there end up being who actually get this album. I don't care if I make $50 on it, as long as it can mean something to someone. I hope you can feel joy, heal pain, and be inspired to do something great when you listen to it. Love you all -
