Written and recorded by Mr. Eric Carmen in 1985; found on his hard to find CD "Eric Carmen" / Geffen records. He and Louise also did a duet on another of his songs "As Long As We Got Each Other" .. theme from TV Growing Pains..

There is a reason why this beautiful tune hasn't been covered by others; no one can sing it like the man who wrote it. You can FEEL the bridge. One of Eric Carmen's finest vocal performances. Beautiful classic.

Eric actually played bass on the album cut; this is a great upload showing the actual vocal performance, however, I believe the actual audio on the TV show itself was a lip sync to the album version (as was commonly done back in 70s TV..regardless; this is a great classic treat for us fans.
