JP Houston is a California singer, producer, songwriter. He has a large catalogue of songs written for TV and theatre. He was nominated for a Gemini award for best score in 2001. JP has composed for BBC, YTV, HBO, CBC, PBS, and others.

Houston released his first solo album "As Long as You're Here With Me" in 2006. He toured the record through 2007, including opening spots for Parick Krief (The Dears) and The Swell Season. JP Produced the acclaimed debut by Montreal punk band The Nymphets.

JP can be seen performing on his own, and with the bands Waxy, Solid Ray Woods, The Clouds, The Kittens, and The Joshua Tree Army Band.
