There is no way of knowing for sure that the pups you just sold wont end up in a shelter. I volunteer at my local shelter and over half the dogs that come in are from owners who suddenly don't have the time for them anymore. They bought a puppy because it was cute, and now that it weighs 40 pound...

If you MUST have a pure bred, then at least adopt. Pure breds make up about 35% of animal shelters. I've just never understood why people are so against mixed breeds. I know that mixed breeds tend to be healthier. And after all, what breed are YOU???

I went to lollapalooza and there were so many great performances, but foster the people really put on one of the best shows. Definitely a major highlight for me!

I haven't even read the book yet. I've just listened to his interviews and read a few excerpts and already my life has changed. I've been meat free for 2 weeks. Even though I miss it in a sense, I feel better missing it than I would if I were to have it.

I just never understood the mindset that people have that animals are somehow less than us. I understand if animal testing has maybe done a few positive things, but if there are other alternative, then let's stop this. It's just selfish of us.
