I wrote my first song at eleven years old, the day before the 9/11 terrorists attacks. The lyrics I had scribbled down in my spiral notebook were far from perfect, but incredibly applicable to the event that rocked the nation. The song was entitled, "You've Gotta Help"- a cry to the Lord for help. One line of the lyrics in the second verse sang, "I cry myself to sleep, not knowing what tomorrow will be like..." Call it coincidence if you'd like, but at the ripe young age of eleven I developed a passion for writing songs and felt called by God to share His love through music! I could have never dreamed of the journey this would take me on... Skipping lots of details in between, here I am today, making music for the enjoyment of others and for the glory of my King. As a songwriter I've essentially declared my life an open book for all to read (or possible an audio book for all to hear), so I hope that what you find will challenge, inspire and encourage your hearts and fix your gaze heavenward.
