Sprouted from an idea by Dan Asbury and Kay Lee, the Journey for Justice grew to raise awareness and generate copious news coverage in Ohio 1997; Wisconsin 1997; Florida 2000; Texas 2000; various November Coalition actions; and a bikeride across America in 2006 - all to dramatize the plight of medical marijuana patients.
