Seattle native Josh Zimmerman is an ambitious and talented broadcast journalist who moved to Los Angeles in pursuit of his dream to become a reporter. Recent accomplishments include working for top tier companies like CNN-IBN, E!, Boeing, King 5 News and NDTV. Working for previous employers like Ryan Seacrest, KIIS FM, KJR FM, Animal Fair Media and Samantha Slaven Publicity has given him a broad understanding of working in the media.
An experienced world traveler, Josh has ventured all over Western Europe, the Middle East, and Asia, which has helped him gain global understanding of cultural diversity. One of the news reports from his most recent trip to India was featured on the Los Angeles Times Web site and on Current.com.
Josh is most passionate about discovering truths through investigative reporting and sharing essential information about current events with the public. His inquisitive mind enables him to be an excellent communicator and interviewer. At a young age he discovered his love and natural presence in front of the camera. His ability to work under pressure in breaking news situations has given him the upper hand in the field.
During his days at Endicott College in Boston, Massachusetts, he anchored his own college TV news show and graduated with a degree in Liberal Studies with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.
Josh has volunteered time with organizations including Progressive Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Sara's Sanctuary, Alpine Animal Hospital, Star House as a grant writer for less fortunate children and is someone who enjoys giving back to the community.
Josh currently resides in Los Angeles, California, and enjoys spending time with friends and family. In his spare time he also enjoys quaint coffee shops, reading, networking, keeping up with current events and exploring new places. He considers himself a "foodie" and loves discovering the best restaurants in LA.
