The "Gears of War" font is known as "Jacinto Sans" for those who are curious.
The song over the PA system was a mall song from Dead Rising. The song at 00:31 was known as "Sons of War."
The map used in this was designed by Menderza specifically for this video and is not publicly available.
I used to play World of Warcraft for longer than I'm proud to admit, but ever since the Burning Crusade expansion was over, the game, even to its community felt the life slip from the game, leaving only the GRIND when Wrath of the Lich King came out. Anyway, this is more or less my little jab at WoW's new upcoming expansion as part of my own personal vendetta. It does gets pretty obvious that something is on life support when they start bringing Pokemon into it though.
Also, some say it's unfair that I put a Kung-Fu Panda reference in there, and while it's probably true that there was a panda race in Warcraft lore long before the Kung-Fu Panda movie, I still couldn't help but use Po's particularly dopey face in there regardless. Plus, his face is a well known icon and as much as the Warcraft loreheads hate to admit it, it really does sum up the next new race to those who never played Warcraft.
Update: If Chuck Norris jokes are desperate humor made by the criminally un-funny, then that should say a lot about the new WoW ad.
