I'm like you, i've only really got into Ricky in the last couple of years. My brother's been a fan of Ricky since the early 00's and that sort of put me off Ricky a bit lol...but i overcome that and like him in my own right now. Yeah i can't wait to see 'life's too short', it sounds like it's gonna be tidy . I'm not one of those that thinks everything Ricky touches turns to gold though, i thought 'The Invention of lying' was a bit shit...idea was good but was a bit of a wet echo in the end.
