About Jose Mangin
José Mangin started his assault on music at the University of Arizona college radio station, KAMP, in 1995. As a graduate student in Pharmacy over in Memphis, Mangin landed a killer gig at Infinity owned WMFS. Deciding against pushing pills, Mangin started pushing albums for TVT Records in NYC and landed his dream job over at Sirius in 2000. Now José programs Sirius XMs two loudest rock stations, Octane and Liquid Metal, and can be heard rockin North America via the satellite air waves weekdays 4-9pm ET on Liquid Metal. In addition to radio, Mangin hosts the nationally syndicated LatiNation TV show, and is host/producer of the almighty Headbangers Ball on MTV2.com.
