REMEMBER THE SARGE!!!
Black women, I don't even feel like continuing this back and forth discussion about black women vs. black men when it's obvious that we all know that the outcome won't benefit either of us.
When I first set up my page, I stated that I wouldn't block people's comments because I feel that everyone has a right to their opinion whether you agree with it or not, but I've already had someone who decided to take that too far so I have begun blocking people. Many black women on YouTube don't want to face facts and hear opposing viewpoints. Therefore, I have been blocked from several of their channels and expect to be blocked from more in the future.
However, I want to make it known that I am a good black man who has strived for the best my whole life and tried to make good choices including higher education, never being arrested or incarcerated or having kids out of wedlock.
What is a good man, ladies? Well, here is my definition of what a good black man is, taken straight from my blog.
Good is a relative term, depending on who you ask. Some women will say that a good man is a man who takes care of himself and his responsibilities, is kind and generous and treats other people with dignity and respect, while other women will say a good man is a rich man who can easily cater to their wants and desires.
As a man, I believe that a good man works or is actively seeking work, perhaps even taking a less desirable position in order to get to where he would like to be in his career. I believe that a good man is honest and trustworthy, even to the point that he will let you know up front that he isn't looking for a monogamous relationship if that's not what he wants because he knows that you'll both be better for it. I believe that a good man doesn't try to live outside of his means because he knows that he will eventually be discovered if he tries to represent himself as something other than what he is, and a good man is confident enough to know that he only wants a woman who would accept him for who he is and who he wants to be.
And I refuse to show my face because it doesn't matter what I look like. I could be the black man who is standing next to you right now.
