About this user

Jordan Rast is a singer-songwriter/multi-instrumentalist hailing from the great county of Lancaster, PA. Raised without a television set, Jordan instead played classical violin and attended bluegrass festivals with his family, while also experimenting heavily with the resources around him -- musical instruments. By the beginning of high school, Jordan had successfully mastered the art of playing the violin, mandolin, guitar, piano, and the claw-hammer banjo, while also composing a plethora of original songs ranging from girls to guns to god -- a.k.a. heartbreak, murder, and theology. He keeps the tradition alive today, playing music while studying History as a freshman at Temple University. His new album, "Fractured Love," is largely centered around the element of heartbreak and is due out October 2011.
