i wrote this tune about WAR and the need for people to continue keeping that alive, always wanting more,,, not understanding and accepting what the already have and the beauty that's around them ..always in competition to feel superior ...on the battlefield and in life..
the rithem in the song represents the marching of soldiers and tanks towards the battlefield...the melody was assingned to illustrate the drama given by war...it's in the nature of the beast..

please put &fmt=18 behind the code for HQ..... a tune called TIBET again from the WORKSHOP album released first time in 1998 later via LionMusic in 2003 ,..it's the openingtrack of my debut album..
wrote this tune back in 95 ..inspired by the shrapnell aera ,throwing in some mystique..didn't play the tune anymore after i recorded it for workshop 14 years ago...untill last week,,, i started recording this new version on an afternoon,, june 28 2009
..so i sat down recorded again new: drums,bass ,rithem guitars..and played here on this video the twin melodyparts(worked out parts) and the lead-parts (improvised in the spirit of the song and for my own enjoyment) that your hearing..and made a vid out of it again, to share it here again...
for sound i used the mc-7 by BO-EL and the pod-x3 ...for drums i used the easy drummer sound and my boss dr-880 to make the the drumpart..for bass i used a 5 string yamaha bass....

heard a lot of metal around me lately... i guess it got me fired up again...to make a little piece again,...;0used to play/write for a band this kind of stuff called ARABESQUE,it ecxisted for 15 years..1989/2004 it started out as a 3 piece instrumental group made 1 album called Beyond The veil released in 1994 via shark records in germany..after that the band changed to a more progmetal band a 6 piece band consisting of two female frontsingers,keys,guitars,bass ,drums..
released an album with the in 2002 called The Union..via lionmusic

Edited by Renato Sommexe, in this video recorded at frankfurt 1986 we have the chance to see Alan, Gary Husband on drums, Jimmy Johnson on Bass and the amazing extraordinary Key akagi on keys at the time using the best keyboards available, yamaha CP80 for pianos and Yamaha DX7 for synth sounds, sometimes stealing the scene showing a tremendous intimacy with alan's complicated compositions, some of them not featuring keyboads in the original recording, in others replacing the also magnificent Alan Pasqua a long term partner in alan's career. Key akagi also can be seen here at youtube on Miles Davis tour in a Kitaro Look due to the long hair. Also alike is his presence in one of Dimeola's 80's shows and you can hear his improvisations along with tavaglione's wind controller synth solos in gambale's alive album which I long to see one day in video also, if someone has it please get in touch, let's share.
