Jon Ritchie, Scottish baritone, alto sax and clarinet player.
Bands include That Swing Sensation, The Trossachs Big Band, Stevie's Uptown Jazz Band (clarinet), Obesa Cantavit (clarinet), Chalumeau (clarinet), The Thistle Saxophone Quartet (baritone sax) and the Swinging Santas (seasonally:-)
That Swing Sensation are a group of Scottish jazz musicians who came together in 2008 .
Since then they have performed at a wide range of events across Scotland including The Edinburgh Festival Fringe, The Glasgow Show, The Callander Jazz and Blues Festival and Glasgow Winterfest where they arranged and performed the music for Glasgow's Guiness World Record Outdoor Tea Dance.
In 2009 they produced the Big Band Gala for Ayr's Gaiety Theatre, Developed The Dance Zone for The Glasgow Show,
and brought big band dancing back to the site of one of Glasgow's most famous dance halls, Green's Playhouse, now the home of Highlight Comedy Club.
2010 Saw the bands second successful Guinness World record performance as well as the introduction of regular World War II Dance Nights , appearances at the Edinburgh Fringe, Gasgows Armed Forces Day, and Historic Scotland's huge event, The Colossal Celebration of the Centuries.
